    For 2024, the awards are announced in the following categories:

    • FPO of the Year
    • Vijayalaksmi Das Friend-of-Women-FPO
    • FPO Promoting Institution of the Year

    FPO of the Year
    • Registered as Farmer Producer Company (under Companies Act 2013)/ New Generation Cooperatives registered on or later than 2002.
    • Must have completed a minimum of 2 Financial Years.
    • Must have made a profit in at least 1 Financial Year.
    • Share capital should be at least INR 5 lakhs.
    • Milk cooperatives/FPCs are not eligible to apply for the FPO Impact Awards.
    • The FPO should have filed their ROC return or tax returns for the last financial year as on the date of application.
    • Winners of 2 previous rounds of the competition are not eligible.

    • At least 70% membership held by women/ At least 51% of the Board comprises of women.
    • Registered as Farmer Producer Company (under Companies Act 2013)/ New Generation Cooperatives registered on or later then 2002 / FPOs in other form.
    • Must have completed a minimum of 2 Financial Years.
    • Must have made profit in at least 1 Financial Year out of the immediately preceding past two years.
    • Share capital should be at least INR 5 lakhs.
    • Milk cooperatives / FPCs are not eligible to apply in category.
    • The FPO should not have defaulted in filling of ROC return or tax returns or institutional loans or statutory compliance.
    		Last Date of submission: September 30, 2024
    FPO Promoting Institution of the Year

     

    • The institution should be registered as company/ society /trust.
    • Must have promoted a minimum of 10 FPOs (registered as Farmer Producer Company under Companies Act 2013).
    		Last Date of submission: September 30, 2024
