PayNearby’s Digital Naari program focuses on providing sustainable livelihoods to women
across Bharat. The program offers additional income-generation opportunities for women
in rural and semi-urban areas, recognising their pivotal role as equal contributors to the
nation’s growth. This initiative aligns with the Government’s vision of creating ‘Lakhpati
Didis”.
The Digital Naari program aims to build a
sustainable micro-entrepreneurial ecosystem
that transforms 1 million Digital Naaris
into Lakhpati Didis within fi ve years. The
platform enables women to provide a diverse
range of fi nancial and digital services to their
communities at their convenience in terms
of time, location (from home or store), and
product preferences. Catering to the diverse
needs of rural women, the services include
cash withdrawal, bank account opening, money transfer, recharge, assurance (insurance and
assets), credit, health and wellness, and she-commerce, facilitating their path to fi nancial
literacy and independence.
